A modern extension to a Georgian House.

Summerhill, Belfast

Having fallen into disrepair over many years it was a great pleasure to work on the restoration of this important listed building. The challenge presented by the brief was to renovate the existing Georgian house along with its Victorian extension and to create a contemporary block to the rear to replace an old stables building. An existing inner courtyard was covered in with roof glazing ensuring a bright central core to the house and this volume is traversed at high level by a glass bridge providing easy access between old and new.
